Counselling

As a Registered Counsellor I take a gentle and empathetic approach to support clients who are struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, overwhelm, stress, trauma and life changes. Using curiosity, counselling allows you to discover your own answers, while creating space to explore your feelings, emotions, thoughts, beliefs and past experiences.

What is counselling?

Counselling focuses on helping individuals overcome emotional and psychological challenges. In sessions, counsellors use a variety of methods to help clients address issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and more. Counselling typically involves exploring past experiences and emotions, and may involve working through deep-rooted psychological issues.

Starting counselling or therapy might feel difficult and I want to acknowledge you for being here right now and taking the steps forward towards your healing and your future. I take a gentle and compassionate approach in the work I offer my clients, while fostering a safe space for you to feel seen, heard and witnessed in your process.

The Details

  • All counselling sessions are held online via Zoom video in CST.

  • I recommend scheduling a free 30-minute connection call to see if working together feels like a good fit.

  • The next step is to book in a 90-minute initial session to go over an intake process. (rate of standard session)

  • Once the initial intake session is complete, we then will schedule weekly or bi-weekly 60-minute sessions.

  • I am still working through my Registered Professional Counselling accreditation with the CPCA , therefore I can’t currently accept insurance billing. If you have a group benefits wellness spending account, you can submit our sessions costs.

  • Rates

    Standard session - $125 CAD + GST (60-minutes)

    Extended session - $150 CAD + GST (90-minutes)

    I work with clients on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to build a trusted therapeutic relationship and gain momentum in ones process.

Cancellation Policy

I require 48-hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. I am committed to providing each of my clients with exceptional care. I understand that things happen and life can be unpredictable, but when a client cancels without giving enough notice, it prevents another client from being seen. For this reason if the notice is not received before that time, you will be charged 50% of the amount of your session.
